As of the week of October 13, 2026, here is what is on the Salem-area calendar:

• E.Z. Orchards Harvestfest. The east-side farm's Oregon-shaped corn maze, duck races, petting zoo, and live bluegrass run through October 30, one of the Salem area's best family fall outings.
• Salem Saturday Market, through October 31. The riverfront market keeps its 28th season running with produce, food, crafts, and live music, a favorite Saturday-morning ritual.
• Bauman's Harvest Festival, a short drive. The Gervais farm keeps its giant corn maze and pumpkin patch going six days a week through October 31, a classic harvest day trip.
• Fordyce Farm Pumpkin Patch, weekends through October. The family farm keeps free pumpkin-patch fun going with a hay maze, hayrides, and coloring stations for the kids.
• The Great Junk Hunt, October 16 to 18. The vintage and antique market fills the Oregon State Fair & Exposition Center with collectors' finds, repurposed furniture, and one-of-a-kind treasures.
• Powerland Halloween, weekends October 17 to 18 and 24 to 25, plus October 31. The vintage machinery museum turns family-friendly with a non-scary Halloween adventure through the historic buildings.
• The Nightmare Factory, Friday and Saturday nights through October. Oregon's longest-running haunted house, now in its 38th year, fills the Oregon School for the Deaf with elaborate scares for brave teens and adults.
