Yachats' flagship fall weekend is just over a week away: guided mushroom forays in the coastal forests, workshops and talks, and the main fair at the Commons with local food and crafts. The coziest festival on the Oregon Coast.

The village market keeps its Sunday run going with coastal produce, seafood, flowers, and hot food, closing the 2026 season on October 18. Two more Sundays to grab the season's last harvest.
September and October | 804 Trail and Cape Perpetua Scenic Area
The headland trail between Yachats and the Cape is at its golden best this month, with migrating whales below and the surf crashing on the basalt. Fall storm light makes every viewpoint look like a postcard.
Runs from the festival into February | Yachats businesses and streets
After the festival weekend, painted mushroom art hides around town from mid-October into February, free to find and photograph. A charming, ongoing scavenger hunt that keeps the festival spirit alive all winter.
First Thursday of each month; next dance Thursday, November 5, 7 to 9 p.m. | Yachats Commons
The town's 17-piece big band plays monthly dances at the Commons, and the next one lands November 5. A joyful, all-ages night of swing music in one of the coast's most community-minded towns.

The 25th annual Yachats Celtic Music Festival fills the Yachats Commons and venues across the village with a weekend of concerts, sessions, and dance, with a lineup including Solas, Dallahan, Cantrip, and Lisa Lynne & Aryeh Frankfurter. One of the most beloved music weekends on the central coast, and a perfect excuse for a cozy November stay in Yachats.
