Manzanita

Welcome to Manzanita

Manzanita is a gem of the northern Oregon Coast — a quiet, upscale beach town nestled between Nehalem Bay and the Pacific Ocean.

Unlike its more famous neighbors, Manzanita has deliberately stayed small, with no traffic lights and a relaxed pace that has made it a favorite of Portlanders seeking a peaceful escape.

The town is centered around a beautiful wide beach that stretches for miles with Haystack Rock (not the famous one, but stunning nonetheless) rising from the surf at the north end of town.

Downtown Manzanita is a single street of galleries, cafes, boutiques, and the beloved Manzanita Grocery and Deli.

The Nehalem Bay just south of town provides kayaking, crabbing, and clamming.

Homes in Manzanita are primarily second homes and vacation rentals, but there is a growing year-round community of retirees, remote workers, and families.

Getting Here & Getting Around

About 90 minutes to Portland via US 26, 30 minutes to Tillamook, 25 minutes to Cannon Beach. Located on the beautiful Nehalem Bay shoreline.

Schools & Education
