The Local Feel

Oceanside feels like a dramatic secret. The tunnel to the beach, the hillside homes with ocean views, the rugged coastline — there is a sense of discovery every time you visit. It is intimate, beautiful, and quietly extraordinary.

Oceanside

Welcome to Oceanside

Oceanside is a tiny, dramatic coastal village perched on the cliffs of the Three Capes Loop.

This is one of the most photogenic spots on the Oregon Coast with Maxwell Mountain rising behind the town and offshore sea stacks dotting the coastline.

The beach here is accessed through a tunnel under the highway, making it feel like a secret revealed.

The famous Oceanside Beach has tide pools, sea caves, and dramatic rock formations.

The view from the beach looking back at the village climbing the hillside is postcard-perfect.

Oceanside has a handful of businesses including Roseanna's Cafe, a local institution for clam chowder and bay views, and the Oceanside Beach Resort.

Getting Here & Getting Around
