The Dallas-area farm opens its patch for October weekends with u-pick pumpkins and family-friendly fall fun. A close-to-home harvest outing for Polk County families.

Dallas's monthly downtown gathering brings music, market vendors, and open shops to the historic main street. The October edition has come and gone, and the November 6 night is a great kickoff for holiday shopping.

Dallas is a wonderful place for pet owners. Many of the parks and trails here are dog-friendly, making it easy to get outside with your four-legged companion. The Willamette Valley has an extensive network of walking and biking trails, many of which welcome leashed dogs. From riverside paths to community parks with dedicated off-leash areas, there are plenty of places to explore together.
The Willamette Valley is crisscrossed with beautiful trails, from riverside greenways to forested paths in the surrounding hills. Many trails near Dallas are suitable for hiking, trail running, and mountain biking, with options for every fitness level.
Local parks and open spaces in and around Dallas welcome leashed dogs. Some parks offer dedicated off-leash areas where pups can run and socialize. Always follow local leash laws and bring water and cleanup bags for a great outing.
