Welcome to Neskowin

Neskowin is a tiny, serene coastal hamlet that feels like a world apart.

Famous for the Ghost Forest, a grove of ancient spruce stumps visible on the beach at low tide during winter, Neskowin offers a quiet, contemplative coastal experience.

Proposal Rock, a dramatic sea stack at the mouth of Neskowin Creek, is the iconic landmark.

Nestled against Cascade Head, a biosphere reserve, Neskowin is surrounded by protected natural beauty.

The community has no traffic lights, a handful of homes, and a single general store.

This is intentional — Neskowin has resisted commercialization, preserving its quiet character.
