Lincoln City

Welcome to Lincoln City

Lincoln City is the largest city on the central Oregon Coast and serves as the commercial and retail hub for the region.

It is formed from several smaller communities — Taft, Oceanlake, Delake, Nelscott, and Cutler City — that merged in 1965.

The result is a seven-mile stretch of beachfront with a diverse range of neighborhoods, each with its own character.

Lincoln City is known for its excellent shopping, restaurants, casinos, and the famous glass floats that the city hides on the beach for visitors to find.

The Devils Lake area provides freshwater recreation in addition to the ocean beaches.

The Lincoln City School District serves the central coast region well.

Getting Here & Getting Around

About 100 minutes to Portland, 30 minutes to Newport, 25 minutes to Depoe Bay. Located directly on US 101, the central coast's commercial hub.
